Brrr its a cold Friday

It has been very cold here today, with rain and sleet along with snow on the nearby hills. Fortunately for me I have been nice and warm at work, so I do not really mind the weather until its time to go home, then I join the multitudes and whine about it.

Pop and my Bear have spent the day around at Pops lady friends place, they cut and stacked wood most of the day, Carla went with them and played with her dog Finn, he is a bit like his mummy, a bit hard to get to know but quite ok once you make the effort.

I rang Jason this afternoon and thanked him for the flowers, we talked for half an hour. He must have been in the tractor because occasionally I would hear the roar of the motor or Jason cursing at something. He was busy feeding out when I rang but rather than let me ring him later he did both; feed sheep and talk to me.
I have to admit to have a soft spot for Jason, he is both a beautiful person and a good looking man. If he has a fault it is that he is a workaholic and just doesnt take time off work or doesnt socialise. Bear thinks he has a crush on me, and I am both bewildered that he would and kind of flattered if he has. But Im not a silly little girl, I like him a lot but I dont think there is a future there for me, besides I would hate to be the older person in a relationship. All that aside I like my time with Mr Bear far to much to do anything silly.

We are going out there tomorrow or Sunday and I am really looking forward to it. I like the farm and I am especially happy to see my Bear happy in his work, he has great plans for his nursery and the land he is leasing.
So Mr Bear is working on a new tunnel house and if its cold and wet I will work in Jasons house doing some housekeeping for him. I plan on doing some baking while I am there so he has snack food in the cupboards. If its fine I will split my time between baking and helping Mr Bear. Sadly for the girls Kyle wont be there but I am sure we will keep them amused, but definetly trying to climb over barbed wire fences. I think Gran and Kelly will be there on Sunday and would be great to meet up with Gran again, especially when the circumstances arent as grim as at a funeral.

Well I best get going and begin to get some dinner ready, Bear and Pop are warming themselves beside the fire and along with the girls they are watching kids programes on TV.

Stay safe and be warm
